Over the last 140 years, The Boys’ Brigade has provided opportunities for generations of children and young people to learn, grow and discover. We believe our work today is as important as ever, and that the positive influence we can have in young peoples’ lives is as relevant as ever.
“One of the things that always makes me smile is when, sometimes in the most random ways, you meet someone or are talking to someone and The Boys’ Brigade comes up in conversation and you end up hearing an amazing story of their connection or someone in their family’s connection to the organisation. From the young people who will complete their time with the BB this year after receiving their King’s Badge, to those that were members 50 or 60 years ago, there is a huge BB community of people out there – across the UK and around the world.”
We want to reconnect with our community of former members – people who all share BB in common, and so are launching a new Alumni scheme.
Former BB members have gone onto do all kinds of different things in business, health, sport, TV, church, charity, education and many other areas.
We want to hear your stories, and the part that BB played in your life.
Importantly though the Alumni scheme isn’t just about reminiscing about the past, it is about give you the chance to reconnect with us and help build a stronger future as The Boys’ Brigade heads towards our 150th anniversary.
